My main interest is the guitar style of Django Reinhardt, but I'm also interested in other styles. I like everything from early music to modern jazz, so hopefully my channel will reflect that.

"Lover, Come Back to Me" is a popular song composed by Sigmund Romberg with lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II for the Broadway show The New Moon, where the song was introduced by Evelyn Herbert and Robert Halliday (as Robert Misson). The song was published in 1928.

I've been having a look at Ted Greene's "Chord Chemistry" recently. Here's a sort of mash up of a couple of thing inspired by that - my arrangement of "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and one of Ted's blues progressions from the book. very nice version of classic django :) is there differenfe of your guitar compaired to regular classical nylon strings since your guitar has so small echo hole ?
Thank you! The guitar actually has steel strings. It’s sort of a cross between an archtop and a classical

That looks like the Johhny Smith guitar also. It has a shorter scale next for the wiiiide chords!

How come dont you play gypsy or sweep/economy picking? Do you propose alternate picking for these arpeggios?
I would advocate using gypsy picking if possible. As you can see alternate picking works fine. Unfortunately I have developed a condition in my right hand which means I can no longer do gypsy picking.

Nice one! I know this piece from the "Bay of Kings" album by Steve Hackett. He plays a reduced version of the piece with a different part on the bridge. That's the one I'm used to play since I don't have the original Giuliani score. Thanks for sharing your performance, Tim.
